About Me/My Approach

Karin Chuang NCC, LPC

My Philosophy & Approach

I believe passionately in the power of the human spirit to overcome adversity, whether it is something we have brought on ourselves, or something that is outside of our control.  Each person has incredible strength to heal.

My style is very interactive.  I will be an active participant in your healing and you will find that I will energetically engage with you in discussion to help you reach your goals.  I offer an environment which is nurturing, supportive, compassionate, and free from judgment or negativity. You will be safe to share with me as much as you are comfortable and progress will be at your own pace. I will help you uncover the naturally energetic, joyful, beautiful, productive person that you already are.

Neuroscientists have discovered that the brain never ceases to grow and change during the course of our entire lives. New connections are always being made. The implications of this are huge. We can heal. We can change. We can learn. We can develop new ways of looking at the world.

Time and time again, I have seen clients, armed with insight, a new perspective and new skills, overcome their challenges and move past their pain. I can help you get there.  I can help you tap in to your own intuition and inner nature, to discover the strength that is already there within you.
